RotaMaster is working with a number of GP Federations, Community Interest Companies and Non-profit organisations who are providing NHS GP extended access services. They use RotaMaster to manage their staff rosters, helping them save time and resource, as well as providing a fair and efficient roster.
Since the introduction of the Prime Minister’s GP Access Fund in 2013, there has been a rise in areas providing patients with pre-bookable evening and weekend GP appointments when their usual GP surgery is shut.
Extended access services often rely on GPs and other staff to take on shifts in addition to the regular contracted or working hours at the GP. Without a rostering software, customers told us it was difficult to share available shifts, gather availability and generate a fair roster.
RotaMaster fully manages this process by allowing you to share the available shifts electronically – via the mobile friendly Web Portal, via email and SMS. Staff can log their availability online which is then used by RotaMaster to auto generate a fair roster. This saves a huge amount of time for our customers. Other time saving features including in-built reporting to assess things like hours and types of shifts worked as well as inbuilt ad-hoc or reminder SMS and email.
