At the heart of RotaMaster is a central database. Over the years the RotaMaster team have worked very closely with RotaMaster users to grow, evolve and enhance the system, incorporating additional fields for storing key HR data as well as many efficiency-enhancing, time-saving features to help them manage human resources. One central HR repository
People+ allows you to hold large amounts of HR data, in its many formats, in one central repository at the heart of your RotaMaster system. From staff names and addresses, professional registrations and holiday entitlement to pay structures, madatory training records and expense claims.
Complex criteria taken care of
The post hierarchy functionality within people+ allows you to set up individuals easily even when they hold multiple posts within the organisation, with multiple pay criteria and differing leave entitlements.
Every people+ field can be reported on and your results can be sliced and diced for viewing in different ways. You can export data as and when you need it in the format required. Managers with the appropriate user rights can extract HR information relating to headcount, staff turnover, and starters / leavers statistics.
Keep control of your dynamic workforce
Because the nature of HR data means it can change by the minute, in people+ every update is user, date and time stamped providing a full audit trail. You can manage all leave types e.g. annual leave and sickness and the functionality is driven by your own, unique policy rules. It provides a countdown of leave remaining per individual and handles leave requests, recognising leave in hours as well as days.
Mandatory training is take care of, recording who needs training, by when and generating alerts to make sure individuals and their line managers are reminded in good time. For disciplinary and grievance procedures you have the scope to log all events from the first verbal warning, right through to dismissal, including conversations, meetings and correspondence.
From your unique set of templates you can create personalised letters and emails to individual members of staff or groups of staff en masse and record them as correspondence date and time stamped in the people+ module. You can also create and send unique correspondence to individuals and store them alongside records of conversations, conferences attended, accidents at work etc.
A place for everything
People+ caters for the volume and diversity of records held by a typical HR department. You can store HR forms, policies, contracts, templates etc. and it caters for all file types, making it easy for you to name, store and retrieve a wide variety of files. Although the system is very structured, their is endless flexibility in the provision of user defined fields, giving you the freedom to expand people+ to accommodate your organisation’s preferred methods of working.
Peace of mind with compliance and eligibility
You can store details of professional registrations, qualifications and skills as well as indemnity insurance and DBS checks. There is also an area of the system dedicated to recording working time directive information to help keep track of your workforce hours.
UK employers have a responsibility to make sure their employers are eligible to work in the UK. People+ provides a place for you to record relevant information against an individual’s record e.g. it recognises whether the eligibility documents stored are from List A (ongoing eligibility) or List B (eligibility for a limited period) and can be set up to trigger notifications when limited eligibility periods are drawing to an end.
