A new team, headed up by Chris Ibbetson, was formed in 2015 and within 2 years the number of RotaMaster customers has doubled.
RotaMaster was acquired in 2017 by global healthcare technology enterprise M3, best known in the UK as the operators of doctors.net.uk - the country’s most active online community of doctors.
RotaMaster is used to manage over 4 million shifts, 50 million working hours and 60,000 health, care and non-clinical staff each year.

Chris joined RotaMaster in February 2015 as General Manager / Product Manager. He spent the preceding 5 years managing a well known, diverse and extensive group of compliance, training, recruitment, software and technology-led businesses in the GP practice sector. Prior to that he spent many years working in retail supply chain. Chris has a passion for products and is excited about his new dual role heading up day to day operations at RotaMaster and acting as product manager for the RotaMaster range of products and services.
Grace Joined RotaMaster in February 2015 as Commercial Manager. She has several years experience in sales and business development, working both nationally and internationally. In her previous role, she was responsible for business strategy and growth within the Indian market for a UK based healthcare software company. She has experience building and maintaining relationships at senior government and Chief Executive level. Grace is looking forward to forming strong relationship with both new and existing customers and developing areas for growth.
Sarah joined RotaMaster in May 2016 providing maternity cover in the finance department. Since then she has expanded that role into general office manager and Help Desk support, providing a multitude of different functions throughout the office. Sarah’s finance role involves the general day to day management of the office accounts including sales and purchase ledger, credit control and analysis. Assisting the General Manager with budgeting and forecasting, Sarah is the point of contact for all finance related queries. When not wearing her ‘finance hat’, Sarah covers all aspects of day to day office management, including ensuring the company is up to date with all Health & Safety regulations, liaising with suppliers and providing HR support where required. In addition to these roles, Sarah also provides cover on the support desk, answering queries from customers and assisting them with their day to day needs.
Senior Systems Analyst
Charlotte joined RotaMaster in April 2015 as a Business Systems Analyst. She brings with her several years’ experience as an Analyst working for a healthcare software company. She was involved in designing and rolling out healthcare systems in both the NHS and abroad. She has experience in designing software so that it meets the needs of varied clients. Charlotte is looking forward to forming relationships with new and existing customers and making sure that the development roadmap addresses any roadblocks that they experience.
Business Systems Analyst
Becky joined RotaMaster in March 2017 as a Business Systems Analyst. She has previously worked as a Systems Analyst working for a healthcare software company, designing and implementing healthcare systems both in the UK and internationally. Becky - a qualified Prince2 practitioner - has experience in designing software to meet the requirements of the customer, and managing its roll out to have as little impact on the customer as possible. Becky enjoys working with our new and existing customers to ensure the RotaMaster product fulfils their e-rostering needs.
Account Manager/Technical Trainer
Ellie joined RotaMaster in May 2016 as Account Executive. She has 3 years’ experience in sales and customer service in various industries and in previous roles has worked for a UK based clinical systems provider. Ellie is passionate about providing high levels of customer service to customers and working hard to create a strong brand that is well established in the health and care markets. Ellie has a good technical knowledge of the system, and enjoys helping our new and existing clients build their own knowledge of RotaMaster through training sessions.
Senior Product Specialist
Rob joined RotaMaster in March 2016 as Trainer/Consultant, and is now our Senior Product Specialist. His role covers training, project management and strategic sales. His background is in Service Management and technical project management, having spent nearly ten years working with some of BT’s largest public sector customers. In his most recent previous role he was a consultant on the MoD’s DFTS project, working closely with the MoD to meet their complex cyber security requirements. Rob now travels across the country working with our customers to make sure that they're getting the most out of the system.
Nik joined RotaMaster in 2016 as a Software Developer. He has a lot of experience of seamless software integration with 3rd party systems which has already proved a huge benefit to the organisation in his time here. Nik is looking forward to utilising and building on these skills as he progresses.
Callum is our apprentice developer, and joined the team in June 2016. Having completed his work experience at RotaMaster during his A Levels, and then joined the company on completion of his studies. After finishing the first year of his apprenticeship, he has moved onto higher-level work and will be spending the next few years completing his degree while building up his practical development experience.
Fallak joined RotaMaster in September 2017 as Graduate Developer. In his most recent role he was a trainee developer working on various projects and closely with the NHS, Metropolitan Police and PWC to meet their requirements. Fallak is looking forward to working with RotaMaster and helping them to advance and further develop the solution.
Business Development Manager
Joe has been with RotaMaster since September 2016. The majority of his career has been in retail banking, working in mortgage advice and practice. Having built up a wealth of experience in customer facing roles, Joe decided it was time for a change of scenery. Prior to coming to RotaMaster, he worked for a healthcare bid consultancy firm in a similar role. Joe works hard to ensure both new and exisiting clients are happy, and always puts their needs as a priority.
Senior Support Analyst
Sandeep joined RotaMaster in December 2015 as Helpdesk Analyst. He has over 5 years’ experience in administrative / customer service roles and more recently, has spent over 4 years’ in IT service based roles. These included Application Support and Senior First Line Support positions. Sandeep is keen to use all of his experience to provide a professional service to all customers, ensuring support support requests are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
Stephen joined RotaMaster in September 2017 as a Helpdesk Analyst. He has nearly 20 years experience in IT support roles, most recently spending the last 10 years’ in customer facing support roles. These included Application Support for both ERP systems and medical rostering software. Stephen is keen to use his knowledge and experience to provide a high level of customer service, while investigating and resolving client requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Matt joined Rotamaster in September 2017 as Infrastructure Engineer after working previously in various IT support roles from 1st Line Analyst up to Senior 3rd Line Analyst. His main role at RotaMaster is to ensure availability of the Rotamaster system through maintaining our high performance infrastructure. Coming from a strong networking background, Matt holds a variety Cisco accreditations.
