Software Trainer and System Consultant

We are looking for a software trainer to deliver face to face training deliver on our innovative and market -leading products. You will be able to learn and demonstrate complex software while engaging with customers. You will have excellent writing skills and will be responsible for creating and maintaining training materials. You will also be responsible for customer implementation support.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver face to face training to new and existing customers at the RotaMaster head office, at client sites and other external locations throughout the UK.
  • Plan, write and record training videos and materials for use in a variety of online channels.
  • Plan and create training courses
  • Manage customer implementations by guiding and supporting new customers while they start using the system
  • Support with software testing when necessary
  • Provide product knowledge support to the help desk team

Skills

  • You will be a motivational and enthusiastic communicator
  • You will be able to learn complex software and explain it to people with lower computer literacy
  • Your written communication will be excellent
  • You will need to be able to communicate and work with many different teams so you must have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of software training is very desirable
  • Experience of training in the NHS is desirable
  • Experience of creating online training materials is very desirable

Requirements

  • 2 years relevant experience or 2:1 degree
  • Full UK clean driving licence
  • Access to a car for business use

Junior Product Owner

Job Description:

We are looking for a junior product owner to gather requirements and work closely with the development team to make sure that they are doing the right thing at all times. You will be expected to understand the product vision and be able to relay this to the development team. You will also need to be able to write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria, and be involved in the implementation process.

Responsibilities:

  • Owning the end-to-end requirements management process for the project requirements throughout the project life-cycle.
  • Define and prioritise functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Testing finished requirements. You will support the development team in testing finished requirements and support regression testing.
  • Documenting release notes
  • Provide assistance to the support team. You will be required to spend some time helping the support team with more complex issues and also assessing development requests that come through the support team.
  • Managing product implementation for new customers. You will work closely with the customer to make the sure the system is configured to best serve their business needs and workflows.

Your skills:

  • Strong agile experience, ideally within the NHS/healthcare market, with the ability and willingness to manage a varied workload
  • A proven ability to understand complex software products
  • Experience in writing user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Able to represent RotaMaster effectively at external meetings
  • Full, clean driving license and access to your own car
