Prior to implementing RotaMaster, Totally Urgent Care was running a cumbersome manual rota management system that relied heavily on spreadsheets and finance admin staff.
Rishi Patel, Head of Operations & Business Development at Totally Urgent Care told us, “We utilise our workforce across all Totally Urgent Care operations so we needed a robust rota management system that would allow us to create rotas and manage our workforce efficiently across our sites. Initially we wanted reliable software to manage the rotas for our Urgent Treatment Centres, because it is all shift-based work and we rely on a complex mix of Totally Urgent Care employees as well as independent contractor clinicians.”
Totally Urgent Care wanted to be able to advertise their available shifts easily and efficiently, instead of relying on email distribution lists which were difficult to keep up to date. They were also looking to streamline their payroll processes, without having to rely on finance staff to consolidate complex timesheets every month.
From a HR point of view, Totally Urgent Care were keen to improve their management of everything from absences to mandatory training, to ensure that they were always compliant without the need to cross reference different spreadsheets.
